Reimbursement claim submissions for 2016 FSA expenses must be postmarked by March 31, 2017. If you met spending thresholds and salary limits in 2016, you may be eligible for the Copay Reimbursement Plan; claim deadline is March 31.
If you belonged to a health club or gym for at least four months during 2016 and are enrolled in either HUGHP or Harvard Pilgrim, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of your health club membership fees. Both HUGHP and Harvard Pilgrim offer a Fitness Reimbursement Program that will reimburse you for up to $150 in membership fees for qualifying health clubs and gyms. This program provides financial assistance for faculty and nonunion staff who earn up to $110,000 annually, and are faced with high medical costs. Reimbursement is for in-network, out-of-pocket expenses above specific thresholds. Employees must be enrolled in a Harvard sponsored HMO, POS, or PPO plan.
