Harvard is required under the federal Affordable Care Act to provide Form 1095-C to active employees eligible for Harvard group health coverage in 2016. The form, mailed to homes in late February 2017, should be kept with your 2016 tax records (but you do not need to be submit it with your tax return). You can learn more here.

Beginning April 3, Harvard faculty and staff will experience a new look and feel when they log into PeopleSoft, the University's HR system to view paychecks, make benefits elections each fall, report time and absences, and participate in performance management. Learn more here. 

Workers’ compensation provides temporary income if you experience a work-related injury or illness that prevents you from performing your job. Effective January 1, 2017, PMA Companies will become Harvard’s administrator for all workers’ compensation claims. Learn more here.

PBH is collecting donations until noon on Friday, Dec. 16. The drive provides gifts to over 2,000 underserved youth in Cambridge and Boston as well as families impacted by the recent fire in Cambridge. Books, games, toys, art supplies, and more are welcome! Gifts must be new and unwrapped, and can be dropped off in designated collection boxes – learn more here.

Transit benefit participants commuting via bus and subway have been mailed a new Charlie Card by WageWorks, new CommuterChoice transit benefit provider. This card will be valid starting Dec. 1. If you have not received your new card, or to check or change your order, please contact CommuterChoice. 

The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University invites artists of all ages to submit their logo designs for the Lilac Sunday 2017 T-shirt. Lilac-themed t-shirts have been a tradition for many years, and continue to be a highly anticipated and popular memento of this event. Find more information here.

Among the Peabody Museum’s most important objects are 15 daguerreotypes of African and African-American slaves from 1850, taken by Joseph Zealy. Ilisa Barbash will discuss how scholars and artists have used these portraits in discussions and depictions of race, photography, vision, gender, power, the body, and anthropology.
