Resources for Veterans

A Long History…

Harvard is pleased to welcome former military personnel to our community. Throughout the long history of the University, our students, faculty and staff have served in all branches of the military and served in all conflicts. Veterans’ leadership skills and capabilities are well suited to Harvard’s leadership-oriented culture.

Our job offerings encompass a wide variety of career areas. No matter where your military career has led you, there may be work at Harvard that matches your experience. Whether your expertise is in security or logistics, finance or development, we encourage you to search our job listings and apply.

Outreach to Veterans

We post all of our open jobs on the Massachusetts state JobQuest site so that our jobs are made available to veterans and the Veterans Employment Officers at the state’s One-Stop Career Centers. Harvard’s employment recruiters often attend Veterans career fairs such as the Hiring Our Heroes and Recruit Military events.

We have an annual Veterans Appreciation and Networking Event to allow our veteran employees to gather together, recognize their service, and assist us in recruitment networking with veterans in the community who are seeking employment. We also have established an annual Veterans Career Workshop Series and mentoring that is provided by recruiters.
