This two-hour workshop provides time management strategies for keeping focused and staying organized whether you work on-site, are fully remote, or shift between multiple locations. Different time management styles will be discussed to help you find a method that works for you and practical tips will be shared on developing a productivity mindset, identifying the obstacles that get in your way, and taking control of your calendar.
This 90-minute virtual workshop focuses on the five-phases of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test. . We’ll focus on how to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with initial level of understanding. At the same time, Design Thinking provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It is a way of thinking and working as well as a collection of hands-on methods.
Come to this dynamic one-hour career checkup session. You will identify the parts of your career that could most use a tune-up through exercises and discussion. We'll review self-assessment, values, interests, and skills, your career network, and setting meaningful and specific career goals. After completion of the session, interested participants can schedule a follow-up 20-minute one-on-one session with a career coach to discuss goals further.

In this introductory 2-hr workshop, you will learn and apply a framework to initiate, define, plan, and schedule a project. This course is intended for people leading a project who have little or no formal training in the project management process seeking an introduction to key concepts. Through this hands-on approach you apply tools and techniques and develop a project plan. Note: this workshop does not teach the use of project management software.
