HUPD: Practical Self-Defense Course

The HUPD offers various safety and self-defense classes. The classes are taught by HUPD officers and are open to all members of the Harvard University community. Just Food? Forum on Labor Across the Food System

This year’s Just Food? Conference will focus on labor in the food system, exploring the issues most relevant to those who grow, harvest, prepare, and serve our food. Participants will learn from a diverse group of food system workers, advocates, scholars, practitioners and other authorities, who will speak about their work on topics including agricultural worker rights, worker compensation in the restaurant industry, regulatory responses, and alternative ownership and operating models.

Harvard's School's Out Vacation Camp

Tue - Fri, Feb 20 to Feb 23, 8:00am - 6:00pm

Harvard offers a School's Out Vacation Camp program to give parents options during the February and April public-school vacation weeks and one hard-to-cover week at the end of the summer. The program generally runs on three campuses: Cambridge, the Longwood Medical Area, and the Harvard Business School.

The program is open to the children, ages 5 to 12, grades K to 6, of benefits-eligible faculty and staff on a regular Harvard payroll.
