Q: What originally attracted you to Harvard?
A: I always dreamt of working at Harvard because of the international prestige of being one of the best schools in the world. I applied to a position at Harvard, but ended up taking a job in a consulting firm. Six months later someone from Harvard human resources reached out to me. It started with a phone call, and now I’m working as part of the team that’s building a next-generation business intelligence platform. It’s a very interesting project and I work in a friendly environment surrounded by smart colleagues. The beautiful campus adds a lot of value to this great experience!
Q: What is your favorite perk or benefit of working at Harvard?
A: One benefit that I think separates Harvard from other companies is the generous time off policy. I get 20 days of vacation plus sick time, plus the winter break at Christmas. It makes it easier to find a balance between work and life.
Q: What would you say to someone who is thinking about a job at Harvard?
A: Go for it! Harvard isn’t just a work place; it’s a community at work. You can feel that. Here, you are part of a group of people that is working hard to do great things—it’s awesome to be part of that.
