2018 Fitness Reimbursement and Bike Commuter Benefit Deadlines

If you belonged to a health club or gym for at least four months during 2018 and are enrolled in either HUGHP or Harvard Pilgrim, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of your health club membership fees. Both HUGHP and Harvard Pilgrim offer a Fitness Reimbursement Program that will reimburse you for up to $150 in membership fees for qualifying health clubs and gyms. You can apply by submitting your insurer’s Fitness Reimbursement Form. Eligible bicycle commuters can receive tax-free reimbursement of up to $20/month at a maximum of $240/year for the costs associated with bicycle purchase, improvement, safety, repair, and storage under this program run by CommuterChoice. Please note that you can only be reimbursed for months during which you do not receive a subsidized MBTA pass or University annual parking pass.
