Harvard Medical School’s Center for Bioethics is proud to host America is in the Heart:

AAAPI Resilience, Empowerment, and Coalition-Building, a roundtable discussion in response to the racialization of the Covid-19 pandemic, its impacts on the Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander community, and the community's response to the same. The discussion includes experts from law, medicine, social justice, and public health. The goal of this interactive roundtable is to interrogate the xenophobia, racist rhetoric, and violence against the AAAPI community and how the community can respond to assert agency, self-help, and solidarity with allies (especially diverse ones) to tackle systemic white supremacy and institutional inequality. Discussion will center on what it means to be members of this extremely diverse community, focusing on the themes of resilience, empowerment, and coalition building.
