Building Personal Resilience is a suite of workshops designed to help you strengthen your resiliency by learning and practicing cognitive science-based tools and techniques that foster greater “bounce-back” ability. You will experience how a positive and agile mindset, combined the ability to self-regulate, will bolster your capacity to communicate, manage conflict and act in productive ways in the midst of challenge and stress. You will have opportunities to explore your ingrained thinking habits and will learn how to adopt a resilient mindset.  You will leave each workshop with greater self-awareness and a few key behaviors that will result in positive outcomes across all areas of your life.

About the Optimism Workshop:

In this workshop, you will learn the definition of optimism, and its undeniable connection to resiliency. In fact, social scientists consider optimism, to be the engine of resiliency. You will see first-hand that optimists are highly skilled at seeing situations as they actually are, moving quickly to identify the root cause of the problem, and moving forward to create and execute plans that lead to improved outcomes.

 Additional information: This program contains are 4 individual workshops. While it is recommended that you take all 4 sessions in the order outlined, you can attend sessions that you determine will be the most valuable to your individual skill development needs.
