Drop-in Session with Paul Fulton

Date:

Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Location:

Online

Audience: All Benefits-Eligible Faculty and Staff.

Prerequisites: Either you have attended an “Introduction to Mindfulness” workshop at Harvard; you have completed “The Basics” course on the Ten Percent Happier app (available for free to all benefits-eligible faculty and staff); or you have a well-established personal mindfulness practice. For more info about these prerequisites, visit: hr.harvard.edu/mindfulness.

Anyone wishing to get the most out of their personal mindfulness practice will benefit from checking-in with an expert instructor and other likeminded practitioners. In a setting designed as a “container” for practice and inquiry, participants will be encouraged to ask any questions they may have, in the service of sharpening their understanding of mindfulness, and building a sense of community. While both general and nuanced questions are very welcome, the expectation is that participants are not coming to learn about mindfulness from the ground up, but are rather coming to discuss the practices they have already developed—either through attending other workshops and courses which have been offered, or through their own private exploration. The instructor will also provide ample opportunities for the group to practice meditative exercises together.
