Enabling a Culture of Speaking Up

Date:

Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 9:00am to 12:00pm

Location:

Center for Workplace Development, 124 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge

In this session, you will explore leadership behaviors associated with enabling a culture of speaking up highlighted in Amy Edmonson’s book Teaming: How Organizations Learn, Innovate, and Compete in the Knowledge Economy.  She recommends that leaders do three things: frame work as a learning challenge, acknowledge fallibility, and ask the right questions. You will learn how to use these skills with individuals and how to role model and encourage them in a culture.
