In her latest research and publications about speaking up in the workplace, HBS Professor Amy Edmondson suggests specific leadership behaviors that can create a culture that enables all voices in service of greater organizational learning and innovation: Framing work as a learning challenge, Acknowledging fallibility, and Asking the right questions. In this course, you will learn how to use these skills with individuals and learn to role model and encourage them in a culture.

- Best practices for encouraging a culture of speaking up, defined as engaging in honest, direct conversation between individuals (includes asking questions, seeking feedback, and discussing errors).
- How to use personal humility in a way that prevents hierarchy or status from getting in the way of speaking up
- Tips for balancing the focus on work outcomes and execution with the need to learn and take risks
