HGSE Sustainability Fellow David Liebmann will present research on the intersection of disability and climate change. This newly emerging area of study includes thinking about how to support people with a range of mental and physical disabilities in response to changes in ecosystems worldwide and impacts on the built environment. Participants are likely to leave with more questions than answers, but the presentation will spark new thinking around the needs of what the World Health Organization estimates to be 15% of the world's population.

David Liebmann holds a BA with an environmental focus from Middlebury College and is an M.Ed candidate in the HGSE School Leadership Program. He has worked as a teacher and administrator in independent schools since 1991.

This event is open to the Harvard community.
