In honor of LGBTQ+ History Month, the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum is proud to host Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Rachel Levine '79, the first openly transgender federal official to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate, for a conversation on LGBTQ+ achievements and her work on the COVID-19 pandemic, childhood illness, HIV, and the opioid epidemic. Prior to joining the Biden administration, Dr. Levine devoted her career to public service as the Physician General and the Secretary of Health in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Join us virtually in the Forum as we learn lessons on leadership during public health emergencies, breaking ground, and bringing new voices to the table. Dr. Marcella Alsan, Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, an applied microeconomist and infectious disease physician studying health inequality, will moderate the conversation.
