Can I add files to my application after it has been submitted?

Yes, you can upload files to your submitted application. Locate the application to which you wish to add files by navigating to Your Account > Dashboard > Submitted Applications. Click on the "Add Files" button and upload the files. Please note, you will not see these files in your actual application since they were submitted after the fact. You can locate these additional files by navigating to Profile > My Files. 

What is the salary range for Fellowships?

The salary range is generally between $55,000 and $70,000 per year depending on experience and the nature of each Fellowship assignment.   Note that Fellowships are eligible for the Harvard University benefits package and this includes vacation time and available health, vision and dental insurance.

What is the start date for Fellowships?

Fellowships generally begin in the August to September time frame, depending on the needs of the sponsoring departments and the availability of the selected Fellow.

What is the application timeline for the Fellowship Program?

Following the application deadline, applicants for visiting fellowships will be notified if they have been selected as a semi-finalist in mid-April.   Phone interviews then occur in May and June and possible campus visits and interviews occur during June/early July.    A final announcement of selected visiting fellows occurs in July.

How many reference letters are required with my application?

Unless listed on the job description, reference letters are not required. You may submit this at the time of application to bolster your candidacy, if you wish. References are typically conducted at the conclusion of the recruitment process.

What do the different job statuses mean?

When reviewing positions in the Job Submission Screen, reqs will have different types of statuses. These statuses will include:

  • Open (candidates are still being reviewed)
  • Hold (search is temporarily suspended)
  • Cancelled (requisition is no longer going to be filled)
  • Closed (job has been filled)
