President’s Administrative Innovation Fund - Proposal Information Session

The President’s Administrative Innovation Fund was created to provide competitive grants to individuals and teams with ideas for fostering administrative innovation and collaboration at Harvard.  Info sessions are being offered on Thursday afternoons in March to provide interested individuals with more information on becoming involved and guidance on how to submit a quality proposal. No registration needed.

Grab your sneakers and join the Harvard Community for a University-wide fun run.  This free, untimed 5K will do three loops around historic Harvard Yard and the northern Law School campus.  Harvard students, faculty, and staff, along with their friends and families are welcome to participate. Registration, refreshments, and activities will be held on the Plaza.

  • 7:25am – Check-in opens on the Plaza, adjacent to the Science Center.
  • 7:45am – Harvard Recreation leads warm-up exercises

Form 1095-C

Harvard is required under the federal Affordable Care Act to provide Form 1095-C to active employees eligible for Harvard group health coverage in 2016. The form, mailed to homes in late February 2017, should be kept with your 2016 tax records (but you do not need to be submit it with your tax return). You can learn more here.

2016 Fitness Reimbursement and Bike Commuter Benefit Deadlines

If you belonged to a health club or gym for at least four months during 2016 and are enrolled in either HUGHP or Harvard Pilgrim, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of your health club membership fees. Both HUGHP and Harvard Pilgrim offer a Fitness Reimbursement Program that will reimburse you for up to $150 in membership fees for qualifying health clubs and gyms. 2016 Healthcare Reimbursement Program Deadline

This program provides financial assistance for faculty and nonunion staff who earn up to $110,000 annually, and are faced with high medical costs.  Reimbursement is for in-network, out-of-pocket expenses above specific thresholds. Employees must be enrolled in a Harvard sponsored HMO, POS, or PPO plan.  You may apply for reimbursement by completing the Reimbursement Program form and submitting supporting documentation and receipts.
