Harvard's School's Out Vacation Camp

Tue - Fri, Feb 17 to Feb 20, 8:00am - 6:00pm

Location: 

Three locations on the Longwood, Cambridge and HBS campuses

Harvard's Schools Out Vacation Camp offers activities and care for children ages 5-12, grades kindergarten to 6, during the Massachusetts public school vacation weeks. 

February camp is Feb. 17-20, 8am-6pm each day.

Sign up for the entire week or per day - $80/week, $20/ per day per child.

Winter Wonderland Bird Walk

Arborway Gate, Arnold Arboretum

Even when most of the natural world is resting, there are dozens of bird species actively making a living. From year-round residents to occasional winter visitors, there is always avian life to observe in the landscape. Join this two-hour walk from the main Arborway Gate to Bussey Hill and back, focusing on winter birds as well as admiring the woody plant collection in winter. Great scenery and exercise, who could want more? Take a brisk walk this winter and stay healthy and connected to the Arboretum at a time when the landscape is pared down to its beautiful bones. This walk emphasizes fitness, with a healthy dose of information on seasonal highlights. Winter tours are geared to adults and led by trained Arboretum docents.
