Harvard Museum Visit to the Chelsea Public Library

How do we know what the Earth looked like in the past? What about other planets? Join us at the Chelsea Public Library to investigate real fossils and rocks to piece together the puzzle of past environments just like scientists do.  This hands-on presentation will be co-led by a museum educator and an expert from Harvard’s Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.

Art Study Center Seminar: “A Constant Source of Joy”—The Calderwood Courtyard, 1518 to the present

The Calderwood Courtyard constitutes the physical and spiritual core of the Harvard Art Museums. Since its construction in the original Fogg Museum in 1927, the space has been the center of the building at 32 Quincy Street. When Renzo Piano Building Workshop designed the renovated facility, which opened in 2014, the courtyard was the only part of the original structure left intact.
