Ride for Hunger

Are you a cyclist? Would you consider riding and raising money for Harvard's food donation partner, Food For Free? The next Ride for Hunger takes place on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Your commitment: a $75 registration fee, and a request that you raise a minimum of $300 dollars in donations (but we aim for $1,000 per person).

HUBS SmartView Analytics

SmartView is a platform for creating ad hoc budget reports in an Excel environment. This course covers accessing a HUBS database from an Excel worksheet; selecting specific members (e.g., tub-org, object, fund, year, etc.); retrieving budget data; arranging members on the grid; drilling down into data; and applying Excel formatting and formulas.

This course provides hands-on training on shopping for office and lab supplies in the HCOM Marketplace, creating purchase orders for contractors and consultants, paying invoices and honorariums, and processing reimbursements to students and non-employees. Participants must have login access to HCOM at least one week prior to attending this course and must have their HarvardKey and Duo access with them in order to participate in the class exercises. It is recommended that participants take the Chart of Accounts class and the online HCOM class prior to attending this course.
