When will I get information about my 25 Year Recognition gift?

At 25 years of service, eligible faculty and staff receive a choice of commemorative gifts (most people select a Harvard arm chair) as a gesture of Harvard’s thanks and appreciation. These gifts are generally awarded at the beginning of each year for those who attained 25 years of benefits-eligible service in the prior calendar year. Information about the choice of gifts and how to order are provided at that time. If you have questions about the program or your eligibility, please contact your local human resources office, or email

What is the Harvard Heroes Program? How can I make a nomination?

Harvard Heroes is an annual program that recognizes and celebrates high-performing staff from across the University. These staff members have been nominated and/or selected by their peers for work that goes above and beyond to support the mission of Harvard and set a standard of exemplary achievement. Nominations are made each spring, and you should contact your local human resources office
