2017 Healthcare Reimbursement Program Deadline

This program provides financial assistance for faculty and nonunion staff who earn up to $110,000 annually, and are faced with high medical costs.  Reimbursement is for in-network, out-of-pocket expenses above specific thresholds. Employees must be enrolled in a Harvard sponsored HMO, POS, or PPO plan. You may apply for reimbursement by completing the Reimbursement Program form and submitting supporting documentation and receipts. Learn more... 2017 Fitness Reimbursement and Bike Commuter Benefit Deadlines

If you belonged to a health club or gym for at least four months during 2017 and are enrolled in either HUGHP or Harvard Pilgrim, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of your health club membership fees. Both HUGHP and Harvard Pilgrim offer a Fitness Reimbursement Program that will reimburse you for up to $150 in membership fees for qualifying health clubs and gyms. If you have a Health Care and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account for 2017, all funds must be spent by March 15, 2018. Any unused funds will be forfeited. The deadline to submit 2017 FSA claims to Benefits Strategies is March 31, 2018.
