In-home back-up care for children and adults is provided to eligible Harvard faculty and staff through Care.com Backup Care. Care can be provided for adults or children. Harvard employees pay the caregiver directly. Current employees can learn more and register and register for these services by going to HARVie.

Harvard’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can provide information on day care options, including tailoring a list of providers according to your desired location, preferred type of care, etc. Current faculty and staff members may find EAP contact information on HARVie. In addition, there are six child care centers on Harvard’s campuses, serving children from age three months to five years....

Scholarship award notifications are made by email about eight weeks after the close of the application period. Application periods vary according to employee group.
Payments are made two to four times per year, through employees’ paychecks, once claims for reimbursement are submitted through PeopleSoft. Visit the child care scholarship section of this website for more information.
