Throughout the long history of the University, our students, faculty and staff have served in all branches of the military and served in all conflicts. Veterans’ leadership skills and capabilities are well suited to Harvard’s leadership-oriented culture. Talent Acquisition & Diversity Programs seeks to support university-wide recruitment of and outreach to veterans, active service members, and military spouses.

We post all of our open jobs on the Massachusetts state JobQuest site, so that our jobs are visible to veterans, and the Veterans Employment Officers at the state’s One-Stop Career Centers. Harvard’s employment recruiters often attend career fairs for veterans, active service members, and military spouses, such as the Hiring Our Heroes and RecruitMilitary events.
