You will receive your (benefit) ID cards approximately two to three weeks after you make your online election. They will be sent to your home address directly from the insurance carrier you have selected. You will receive a separate card from OptumRx (formerly Catamaran) for prescription coverage. In the event of an emergency prior to the issuance of the cards, please contact the Benefits Office.
If you are moving, it’s important to update your home address in PeopleSoft Self Service. It is also important to know that if you are enrolled in an HMO plan and have moved outside the Plan’s service area OR are enrolled in the PPO plan and have moved into the Plan’s service area, your coverage will automatically terminate retroactively to the date of the address change. You will be offered medical plan options based on your new address and will have 30 days to make changes to your medical plan.
