Childcare Scholarships

Harvard offers childcare scholarships to eligible employees to help defray the cost of childcare. Awards are based on need and granted through an application process. Applications are generally accepted twice per year, once in the summer and once in the winter, and current recipients need to re-apply each year. Payments are made on a reimbursement basis. Current faculty and staff may visit the HARVie's Childcare Scholarship page (HarvardKey required) for full application details and deadlines.

To be eligible to apply, you must be benefits-eligible and in one of the following job categories:

• Faculty
• Administrative/professional staff
• Nonunion support staff
• Services and trades union members 
• Postdocs 

Note: Support staff covered by HUCTW should apply through the HUCTW Childcare Fund.
