If an employee returns to regular University employment within the applicable statutory period, they will be credited, upon return, with the prior service credit they had accrued plus credit for the period of military service
If an employee returns to regular University employment within the applicable statutory period, they will be credited, upon return, with the prior service they had accrued plus credit for the period of military leave of absence. This prior service credit will be counted toward:
- Vested rights and benefits credit under the 2001 Staff Retirement Plan
- Sick pay balance is returned
- Eligibility for Extra vacation
- Tuition assistance benefits
- STD service requirements
