Drawing Birds in Colored Pencil II

Harvard Museum of Natural History, 26 Oxford Street

Learn to capture birds with colored pencils in this hands-on workshop. Explore basic avian anatomy and observational drawing techniques, then dive into some techniques for working with colored pencils to build up rich colors and plumage textures. All skill levels are welcome.

Fees: $55 members/$60 nonmembers.

Winter Wellness Walks

Take a brisk Sunday walk this winter and stay healthy and connected to the Arboretum at a time when the landscape is pared down to its beautiful bones. This free monthly walk emphasizes fitness, with a healthy dose of information on seasonal highlights. Winter tours are geared to adults and led by trained Arboretum docents. Learn more.
