With nearly 4,000 different kinds of plants represented in the Arboretum’s living collections, every day presents rich opportunities to see something new. If you enjoy learning about plants and their unique characteristics, you can contribute to science as a participant in our Tree Spotters program. Harvard Neighbors Tea Tasting

Longtime tea lover or looking to learn more about tea? Join Harvard Neighbors for a tea tasting at the Loeb House, 17 Quincy Street, Cambridge on February 26th. Please use the side entrance labeled “Harvard Neighbors.” Guests will sample five kinds of Chinese teas which will be brewed in a traditional gaiwan. Some background will be given on the teas and tea tasting procedure. Guests will be able to brew their own tea using the gaiwan. The event is free of charge but limited to 15 people. RSVP to neighbors@harvard.edu.

Out of Sight: Off-site Records Storage

Who should attend: Employees who have not yet sent records to storage as well as anyone in charge of packing and depositing boxes who would like a refresher course

Objective: This workshop will present the ins and outs of sending records to off-site storage at the Records Center. We will cover everything from how to assemble and pack a box to completing the deposit paperwork.
